Sam Sheriff has many different uniforms throughout his life. From an unassuming young man in England to Royal Marine Colour Sergeant, to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, recipient of an MBE from the Queen of England herself, and now- probably his proudest moment- as the first-ever Brit hosted on the Ones Ready Podcast! Sam and his team at ReOrg charity are focused solely on never leaving a fallen comrade behind, something that we are connected with here at Ones Ready. Through the pursuit of BJJ, Sam and the whole team at ReOrg are focused on helping veterans- some of them disabled- to find purpose and mission in life after their service. Sam’s dedication to task, purpose and belonging is absolutely astonishing and we were honored to have him in the team room with us. On this episode of the Ones Ready podcast we sit down with an overall great human being, Sam Sheriff from the REORG Charity. Sam was once a Royal Marine before his recent retirement where he was the first Royal Marine to receive his black belt in Brazilian Jujitsu. Sam then help organize and start a fantastic chary called REORG where they focus on brining veterans and others wounded into their program to help rehabilitate them using BJJ.
